About

Charming beach house with Hot Tub, Cargo Lift and Outdoor Shower. We have the essentials to make your stay memorable including a designated work station with a monitor, keyboard and mouse if you need to get work done while at the beach. Located on a large lot with a BBQ grill, tiki picnic table, Outdoor TV, Bluetooth speakers & games. You’ll have access to the beach with a short walk or drive. Restaurants & grocery shopping less than a mile. A signed Hot Tub & Pet Agreement is required to rent.

Good to know

We have an amazing set up with an open concept. Enjoy a separate office/game room with mini-fridge, free Youtube TV or stream your favorite apps. Twin pull-out sofa that sleeps an extra guest. Turtle Shell is well equipped with everything you need including the use of a fully equipped kitchen to cook delicious meals. We have skillets, pots, pans, platters, plates, cups, glasses, crock pot, rice maker, and utensils. Please bring your paper plates, plastic cups and utensils for the beach or Tiki Table down stairs. We have a SS Refrigerator with ice maker and filtered water, Microwave, Electric Cooktop, Oven, Air Fryer, Dishwasher, washer and dryer. Drip coffee maker and Keurig. We provide free Youtube TV to our guest on all TV's. You'll have your own Smart TV in both bedrooms, living room and office/game room. We make sure our guests are taken care of by providing linens, quilts, pillows, shampoo, body soap, dish detergent, toilet paper, trash bags, and paper towels. We just want you to bring your vacation gear, food and drinks and your beach attitude! Bring your Yeti to fill up before heading to the beach. After having enjoyed a fun day at the beach, long after the sun has set, hang out in the Hot Tub and relax under the stars, listen to your favorite tunes on our Bluetooth speakers. Hear the ocean waves. Enjoy the night lights on the patio and deck to set the mood.

Other Details to Note

We have a cargo lift for heavy items instead of lugging them up the stairs...please note this is NOT for people! Be sure to check for people under the Lift before lowering to ground level. Always put the Cargo Lift in the UP POSITION when not using FOR SAFETY. Please hang the remote to the lift on the wall inside the front door.

House Rules

Booking guest must be 25 or older to rent. Pet fee is $75 for 1 dog. No Cats allowed. Vehicles must be parked in the private driveway not on the street. Hot Tub Use: Follow all rules on the hot tub safety sign. Use the hot tub at your own risk. The hot tub is cleaned and checked between guests. The temperature will be set at 99 degrees. It may take 4-6 hours to heat up to 100-102 degrees. Please don't turn the hot tub higher than 102 degrees and turn it back down to 99 degrees when you done using it. Do not use soaps or oils in the hot tub or the water will get dirty. Outdoor shower with hot and cold water is downstairs and is convenient to use. Please replace the cover and clip the straps after each use and lock the clasps. Do not sit or lie down on the hot tub cover.

Turtle Shell is in Emerald Beach 2 which is a quiet subdivision centrally located within 1-2 miles to Grocery Stores and Restaurants. Our neighborhood has many permanent residents so you’ll enjoy quiet days and nights. Take a walk in the morning to the beach (about 5-7 minute walk) and look for shells. Drive down to the beach (about 1 mile), set up your canopy & chairs and enjoy a relaxing day at the beach. $10 parking sticker (good for a year) required to park and can be purchased at The Big Store or wait for the parking sticker jeeps to come by. (Cash needed)

Guest Access

Guests will be given a 4-digit lock code prior to arrival for contactless check-in. Getting around the neighborhood is easy either with walking (less than 1 mile) to the beach or driving a vehicle. You can park on the beach (with a $10 parking sticker). Golf cart rentals are available as well. If you would like to rent a golf cart, we recommend you do so as soon as possible! The nearby golf cart rental companies tend to get booked quickly. If you would like assistance in obtaining contact information for the rental companies nearby, don’t hesitate to reach out and ask. PETS: We accept ONE dog only. No Cats. An additional $75 will be added if bringing a pet. No dangerous breeds. Pet must be 50lbs or under. Please pick up your dog's waste and dispose of properly. Pet Agreement will be required.

We had the best time at the Turtleshell! We went to celebrate Mother’s Day & we had the best time! It accommodated our family of 6 well. Our boys loved the game room & hot tub. Not too far a walk to the beach & loved the outdoor areas. The porch upstairs is great for coffee in the morning & downstairs we loved the hot tub & grill with the nice setup for outdoor dining for our afternoons. Definitely a hit! We’d love to come back! Thanks for the best time!

We had such a great time! We can't thank the hosts enough for letting us enjoy their space. The house was very toddler friendly and our son had a blast. The kitchen was stocked (we have had previous bad experiences in that department). Best part had to be the hot tub! We will definetly be back.

We have plenty of parking in our driveway for 6 vehicles. Please don't park on the street or grass. Getting around the neighborhood is easy either by walking (less than 1 mile) to the beach or driving a vehicle. You can park on the beach (with a $10 parking sticker). Driving is free. You can purchase at The Big Store or wait for the Parking Sticker Jeeps to come by. Golf cart rentals are available as well.
